Centenary Events
Friday Evening 14 May 2010
Julie Kelly will coordinate an event named The Celebration Ball to be held in the Jamestown Town Hall on the Friday Evening of the Centenary.
It will be an old-style ball where former debutauntes will be invited back.
Our band will be playing a wide variety of music to appeal to all ages.
Supper will be by way of the traditional country ball plate of supper from those who attend.
Entry cost will be adults $15.00 and students $10.00.
Our theme for decoration will be period costumes from the local drama group.

Morning & Afternoon
9:00am: Registration of attendance commences.
10:00am: A student roll call conducted by ex Principals or teachers.
After each year's roll call, that group's photographs will be taken by local professional photographer Clive Palmer.
11:30am to 1:30pm: We will have a BBQ lunch for those who require food, and the school canteen will also be open for snacks & drinks.
2:00pm: Our Centenary Book will be launched.
2:30pm: Our Centenary time capsule dedication will take place.
Current students may conduct guided school tours of the school during the day.
Student art exhibitions will take place at the Belalie Art Gallery.
A photographic display plus the 75th. anniversary unearthed time capsule display could be in the stadium.
The Jamestown Local History Group Centre will be open on both Saturday and Sunday for those who would like to see the extensive display of historical items.
Evening Dinner:
6:30pm for 7pm: Dinner will be held on Saturday evening at the Jamestown Table Tennis Clubrooms.
We can cater for approximately 400 people, so reservations will be essential.
We will have some interesting guest speakers and current school students will be modelling school uniforms from previous eras.
Proposed Menu:
Entrée: Soup or Beef satay.
Main Course: Chicken or steak with salad.
Desert: Chocolate mud cake (which will be our Centenary cake) or Fruit salad & ice-cream.
No individual table orders will be taken as meals will be distributed equally to each table and patrons may swap as desired.
Vegetarian options will be offered in our application package.
Meals will cost $45.00 per person.

Individually organised group reunions.
Visits to the local history group display at the old Primary School site.
